Position Summary: The Senior Director of IT role oversees the company’s cybersecurity framework, engineering and executing on the long-term technology roadmap and manages our global IT ecosystem. This role covers multi-disciplinary functions for cloud architecture, network systems, and desktop support. The Senior Director should have a solid technical background while able to manage and motivate people. This team is responsible for scaling infrastructure, modernizing legacy systems, maintaining and upgrading robust security frameworks.
Key Position Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement a multi-year strategy aligned with business outcomes and cybersecurity requirements.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring the reliability, scalability and performance of IT Infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications.
- Lead security, data protection, risk mitigation, disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.
- Leads IT compliance program to include regulatory and customer requirements, ensuring audit readiness and preparation.
- Partner with the business to implement AI and other technology projects in a timely manner and with appropriate oversight.
- Manage multiple projects while understanding risk mitigation and business needs for timely execution.
- Lead ad hoc projects for process improvements and other general needs for leadership.
- Participate in annual plan, manage budgets, secure purchases and capital expenditures as needed.
- Lead, develop, and manage the IT team by setting clear priorities, establishing performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback, supporting professional development, and ensuring the department has the skills, structure, and resources needed to meet business objectives.
- Demonstrates commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures; adheres to the Company’s procedures and sets same expectation for reporting team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent required; Master’s Degree or MBA preferred.
- A relevant security certification including CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, etc.
- 10-15 years relevant IT work experience with progressively increasing scope and responsibilities.
- Prior leadership experience managing direct reports, including responsibility for coaching, performance management, team development, and resource planning, is required.
- Prior experience leading cybersecurity projects, initiatives, risk mitigation efforts, and/or security improvement roadmaps is required.
- Prior experience supporting or leading audits is required.
- Experience supporting a manufacturing and/or highly regulated environment is preferred.
- Experience with CMMC Level 2, ITAR/export-controlled environments is preferred.
- Prior experience managing IT operations across multiple sites or business locations is preferred.

- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, cybersecurity tools, etc.
- Ability to strategically manage IT budgets, capital planning, technology contracts, software licensing, and vendor/service provider relationships.
- Excellent organizational, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues, recommend practical solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and judgment when handling confidential, sensitive, or regulated information.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on system reliability, cybersecurity maturity, operational efficiency, and user experience.
